The video conferencing server URAN http://vc.uran.net.ua allows to hold simultaneous conferences with up to 30 users. The server has installed Tixeo video conferencing system (for details, see www.tixeo.com).

Video conferencing services are provided free of charge.

The Tixeo system users could have one of three access levels: administrator, organizer or attendee.

Administrators of the video conferencing system are URAN technical staff. Administrator rights are not available to other users.

The access level organizer is required to be able to appoint a conference and invite the participants. Organizer rights could be given by one of the administrators only to representatives of the organizations-users of URAN network, with whom the contract for the provision of telecommunications services has been singed.

The attendee access level allows to participate in a video conference. These rights are provided by one of the organizers at its discretion without any restrictions.

All users of the system are identified by their login name that is the same as a valid email address.

To be able to hold conferences on the server the organization-user of URAN network need to:

1. Designate the person responsible for video conferencing.
2. Send to
   a request to observe a status of conference organizer to that person and give his full name and the email address.
3. On this request the system administrator will create an account of the new organizer, the login will be his e-mail.
4. To receive his password, the organizer must go to the login page http://vc.uran.net.ua/workspace3d/login.html, click the link Forgot your password and enter his username. The password and a link to access the web interface will be sent on his e-mail.

The conference 'organizer' is adding participants to the conference by choosing from the menu: USER – add user.

All fields are filled only Latin according to the following template:

First name* - Full name
Last name* - City, Name of organization (can be abbreviated) # mobile phone of the participant
E-mail* - e-mail address (user's login)
Rights* - attendee

The conference organizer creates new conference by choosing Organize a meeting from the menu, then he should make the following:

Step 1 - fill out basic information regarding the video conference.
Step 2 - invite the participants (at the same time in all the conferences up to 30 users can participate).
Step 3 - choose the design of a virtual 3D environment to conduct meeting.
Step 4 - provide a remark regarding the conference (only Latin is allowed).
Then SAVE.

The conference invitation with the passwords will be automatically sent to the participants on their emails. Any participant can recover his lost password by clicking Forgot your password on the site http://vc.uran.net.ua and entering his username (e-mail).

Conference participant should install on his workstation client's version of Tixeo video conferencing program. For this you should choose from the menu of web interface Preinstall the plug-in, and then you can Join to conference.
